Ms. Zareen Mahmud CPA, FCA

Ms. Zareen Mahmud is a Director of Shasha Denims Limited and EOS Textile Mills Ltd. She is also a Founding Partner of Snehasish Mahmud & Co., Chartered Accountants and the Founder and Executive Director of HerStory Foundation.

She has a BA in Economics from Smith College and an MPA in Public Finance from New York University, USA. She has been qualified as a Certified Public Accountant from the Delaware Board of Accountancy in the USA. She is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).

Ms. Zareenhad started her career in New York and workedas a Senior Associate at KPMG in the Corporate Tax Division. She was aSupervising Analyst in New York City Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget and a Consultant for the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) in New York.

Before founding Audit Firm, Ms.Zareenserved as the Vice President of Newton International Limited, a start-up education and training business. Prior to Newton, she served as a Manager of Audit & Consulting at ACNABIN & Co. She was also a Financial Management Consultant for the World Bank in Bangladesh.

Currently, she serves Governing Body of Sajeda Foundation. Ms. Zareen Mahmud is a General Body Member of Ghasful (NGO) and an Executive Committee Member of Bangladesh Mahila Samity.
