Mr. MD. EFTEKHAR ALI FCA

Mr. Md. Eftekhar Ali FCA has been appointed as the Independent Director of Shasha Denims Ltd. on 14th November, 2024. He also holds the position of the Chairman of Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) and the member of Audit Committee of the Company. He is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh.

Mr. Eftekhar is a partner of Kazi Zahir Khan & Co. Chartered Accountants since March 2020 to date and the proprietor of ‘Augmenta’, a provider of Financial Management, Audit and Taxation Services. He is the Financial Management Consultant of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Mr. Eftekhar is a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors, USA (Bangladesh Chapter) and Empacta, 113, Thielallee, Berlin Germany as well.

Mr. Eftekhar is an accomplished finance professional with wide ranging overseas and in country experience in senior managerial positions and managed almost all major donor funded projects e.g. USAID, EC, The Global Fund and UN agencies. Areas of key skills and expertise are in Financial Management, Grants & Contract Management, Financial Reporting, Multi-Million Dollar Budget Management, Risk Management, Leadership & Capacity Development, Internal & External Audit Management, Human Resource Development, Supply Chain Management and Office & Asset Management.

He has vast professional experiences working with various organizations in different courses of time. He worked with UNOPS- Global Fund LFA, Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea ; S. K. Barua & Co. Chartered Accountants- an Audit firm; Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF)-an microfinance institute; Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA)- a government organization; Khan Wahab Shafique Rahman & CO, - an Audit firm and so on. He attended a number of conferences and training programs on various professional issues in Bangladesh, Switzerland, France, Germany, China, Turkey, Singapore, UAE, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
